If you've got a talent for music, then consider joining us! We're particularly
looking for members to fill the vacant chair in our strings section, as well as
bassoons. The chair below could be yours!

Several times a year, the Kanata Symphony will host an open house rehearsal
where all are welcome. If possible, please contact us and let us know you'll be
coming so we can arrange to have sufficient parts.
The purpose of the open house is to allow new members to join at a time when the
music has just been handed out to the orchestra. This makes the experience of
joining far less intimidating, as nobody is familiar with the music.
Unfortunately, we can't always accept all those who attend an open house. We may
simply not have open positions, or your playing level may not match the
orchestra.
